Wave Power
Wave power is on of the lesser known renewable energy sources currently being considered. Using wave energy as a renewable power source is exciting because of the massive possible production. Unlike wind and the sun, waves are always moving through the sea, making wave energy a tempting source of electricity.Wave Energy
The problem with many renewable energy platforms is the infrequency they can be experiences. Solar panels don’t produce much power in a rain storm, or at night for that matter. Wind turbines only generate power when wind gets above 7 miles per hour or so, generally speaking. Wave power, however, is constant. The ocean always has waves and the energy in those waves is massive. If we can harness that energy, the energy needs of coastal cities could become less of a concern in the future.Wave energy technology is in its infancy, but is getting more and more attention as time passes. To keep you updated on the evolution of it, we’ve put together this article section and will update it with new developments.
